David's Law is a new law enacted to protect Texas children from cyberbullying. It provides for schools to collaborate with law enforcement when serious or life-threatening cyberbullying situations arise.
Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 179, also known as David's Law, this year. The Texas Law requires school districts to include cyberbullying in their district bullying policies and to notify a child parents if he or she is a victim of alleged aggressor or bullying.
Tom Bean ISD has boxes located on each campus which allow for annoymous reporting of a bullying situtation.
