I have had the privilege of being associated with Tom Bean ISD since 1990. I began as a substitute teacher at the TB Elementary Campus in 1990. In 1997 I became the TB Elementary librarian, a position I held for 10 years before transferring to the TB High School Library Media Center in 2007 as the librarian. I moved to the TB Elementary Campus in February 2015 then returned to the TB High School Library Media Center as the librarian in 2017. I serve Tom Bean ISD as the District Instructional Technologist and District Instructional Materials Coordinator.
I attended the University of North Texas graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science degree in Applied Technology & Performance Improvement. I also attended Grayson College graduating Magna Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in Secondary Education. I am a member, current Secretary and past President of the North Texas Textbook Coordinators Association-Instructional Materials (NTTCA-IM) for Region 10 and Region 11 schools, a member of the Instructional Materials Coordinators Association of Texas (IMCAT) and a member of the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA).
My son, Chad Woods, attended TBISD K-12, graduating in 2003. My husband, Andy, is an engineer for the BNSF Railway.
