Tom Bean ISD Substitute Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma

Must pass a background check.

Must be able to acquire a fingerprint subscription (Directions on accomplishing this will be given at the substitute orientation.  Other district fingerprint checks will be honored) Must attend a substitute orientation.  (These are held twice a year; fall/spring)

Substitute Salaries:

Non- Certified/ No Degree $80

Non-Certified/ With a degree $85 (Must Provide Transcript)

Certified Teacher $90 (Must Provide Certificate)

Long Term Substitute $100
