Returning Students



(all CURRENT Tom Bean ISD students - Every student must register online)

  • If you already have an active Parent Portal account, click here to login.
  • If you have a Parent Portal account, but do not have all of your kids connected, click on the “Add New Student” tab on the navigation bar and add them. You will need your student’s birthday and their Portal ID. If you do not have your student’s Portal ID, please contact the campus.
  • If you do not have a Parent Portal Account, please begin by creating an account by clicking here.
    • When creating this account, you MUST use an email associated with your child’s information in our student information system. This would be the email address where you receive important notifications from Tom Bean ISD. 
    • If you are not sure which email address is associated with your student’s account, please contact the campus for assistance.



Log in with your Parent Portal username and password. If you do not remember, click Reset Password under Forgot your password? [TBISD does NOT have access to this information. You must go through the resetting process if you don't have your username and/or password.]

Step 1:

- The summary page will display a 2024-25 REGISTRATION button below your student's name. If the button is red or yellow, there are registration forms that need your attention. If the button is green all registration forms have been submitted.

- Click Start Registration. The online registration wizard opens and lists all forms on the left side of the screen. This list displays Pending or Complete to indicate registration status.

- Forms will require one of these actions:  View only/Download or Review & Update

  • View only/Download: View the form and acknowledge that you have viewed the form. There is no information to enter. By clicing Next Form, you are confirming you viewed the form.
  • Review and Update: Review existing student information and add or update as needed. If a field contains the Document button, this is where you upload your proof of residency and other documents

- Click Next Form, continue reviewing forms until you have reviewed and updated all forms.

- At any time you can click Save Form to leave online registration and continue later. Once you have viewed and updated all required forms, click Finish and Submit to District. When you see Print Confirmation, you have completed the online registration. (You do NOT need to actually print anything.)


Step 2:

Required Registration Documents for Returning Students: Upload to Parent Portal:

  • Proof of residency

    • A recent paid rent receipt

    • HUD/Settlement Statement

    • Current Voter Registration Card

    • Most recent property tax receipt indicating home ownership

    • Contract of sale or lease agreement

    • Gas bill indicating the address and the adult's name

    • Water bill indicating the address and the adult's name

    • Electric bill indicating the address and the adult's name

  • Child's Birth Certificate

  • Child's Social Security Card

  • Child's Immunization Records

  • Driver's License of Enrolling Parent/Guardian


If you have difficulties uploading documents to Parent Portal, please email the documents to the appropriate campus email. Please include the student name and grade level in email.

Register for bus services for the 2024- 2025 school year.

Free & Reduced Paperwork

You will be able to access the paperwork for Free & Reduced meals in July on our website. Please make sure to complete the paperwork and return to your childs campus as quickly as possible. The application can be found on our website HERE.
